Pasta in White Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 Cups pasta (any type I used Penne pasta)
- 1 Small carrot (cut into cubes)
- 1/2 cup sweet corn
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1 tsp butter
For White sauce
- 1 tsp butter
- 2 tsp maida / all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- Pepper powder
- Oregano
- Chilli flakes
- Salt
Method

Add water in a pot to boil, add pasta along with a drop of oil and cook till done. Drain and keep aside the boiled pasta.

In a Pan add 1 tsp butter and Sweet corn, Carrot, and Peas and saute them for few minutes till tender, and remove them in a plate.

In the same pan add 1 tsp of butter and add 2 tsp maida/all-purpose flour and whisk it well.

Now add 1 cup of milk and keep whisking in low flame till the mixture starts to thicken, take care as there should be no lumps in it.

Once the mixture is thick add chili flakes, Pepper powder, salt, and oregano. Keep it whisking till the sauce is smooth.

Once the sauce is ready to add the sauteed vegetables and mix well.

Add the boiled pasta into the prepared sauce and mix well, you can add more dried herbs according to your taste.

Serve hot pasta, if you like you can top it with grated cheese.
