Donald Trump signs order banning immigrants from seven Muslim countries, people hailing from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen are banned to enter United States.

Temporarily closing the US borders to people who hold these country passport. One order reportedly will block visas from being issued to citizens of Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.

This order will effect at least 134 million people, and it is just starting point for a broader ban. While the diplomats and member of international organizations are exempted from this ban. These countries were named as “countries of concern.” in 2016 law concerning immigration visas.

Trump stopped the admission of all refugees to the United States for four months. “I hereby proclaim that the entry of nationals of Syria as refugees is detrimental to the interests of the United States and thus suspend any such entry,” he declared in the order.

Lot of people have been detained at the airport all over the country. Students attending American universities were blocked from entering United States from visits abroad. Even the legal permanent residents of the United States who are holding the green cards are not exempted.

US Judge grants stay on President Trump’s executive order that bans immigration from seven predominantly Muslim countries that has caused chaos world wide.

Permanent residents, Green Card holder get a reprieve from his ban on travelers from seven Muslim countries. “Green card holders as a matter of a policy are exempt from the EO (executive order) through the national interest waiver”, said by the senior administration official.
