National Women’s Health and Fitness Day is being celebrated every last Wednesday in September since 2002,  which falls on September 25 in 2020.

It is a day to promote health awareness among women of all ages. A healthy lifestyle and regular exercise is important for physical and mental fitness and helps us in managing the stress and joy of everyday life.

How to Celebrate Women Fitness Day

Celebrate the day by joining events happening in your area, or focusing on things dealing with health and fitness on your own or with friends. Here are 10 tips on how you can celebrate fitness day.

1. Try a sport you haven’t played before

Try something new which you haven’t tried earlier, a new sport which will be good for your health and fitness, so grab the day for yourself and give a new sport a try.

2. Workout with a friend

Friends are a stress reliever, working out with a friend will give you mental well-being and make your exercise more fun and interesting.

3. Walk or ride your bike somewhere instead of using a vehicle

You use your vehicle daily, so secure this day for a bike or a walk be it for work or anywhere else, which will make you more inclined towards fitness.

4. Try out a healthy food you’ve never eaten, or a new healthy recipe

Celebrate this day by not eating the regular food, its time to try a new healthy recipe. Make something new on this day which is more healthy and new for you.

5. Schedule a checkup with your doctor
