SAD-BJP government, Parkash SIngh Badal will be the Chief Minister candidate. Recently Prime minister Modi said “Badal ji has has had the honour of being both India’s youngest chief minister at a time, and today he is the senior most chief minister of an Indian state.”
BJP promises land to Dalits, backward classes & houses to poor; Rs 5 lakh to militancy-hit families, and to give Indus river’s water to Punjab. “After Badals came to power in Punjab, they took everything — Punjab’s water, energy and resources and divided amongst themselves and left nothing for the people of Punjab,” he said.
While for Congress Amarinder Singh as CM candidate. Recently Rahul Gandhi while addressing a rally said “Guru Nanak said ‘everything is yours, nothing is mine’ and the Akali Dal says ‘everything is mine,’”. While Captain Amarinder Singh have said that 2017 Punjab Assembly Election will be his last election.
