Monsoon Hair Care Tips

Monsoon Hair Care Tips

Hairs enhance the overall beauty and personality so you should take extra care of them. Especially during monsoon season weather takes a toll on your hair, and they start to fall.

The humidity in the monsoon air leaves your hairs worn out and lifeless making them brittle and weak causing a lot of damage to hair. Also during the rainy season, the fungal infection culminates on your scalp making the roots of hair weak resulting in hair fall.

1. Drink plenty of water

Drinking at least 8 -12 glasses of water is also a solution for hair loss during monsoon. Water helps our body to get rid of toxins from the body, otherwise, these toxins along with fungal infections can aggravate hair loss problems.

2. Oiling the hairs

During monsoon season your hairs get rough, dry, and frizzy so natural oil massaging followed by hair wash is a good solution resulting in smooth and silky hairs.  Hot oil massage to your hair once or twice a week will help you to regain your hair’s health.

3. Eat a well-balanced diet

The main factor which is responsible for your hair health is your daily diet. Try to include whole grains, raw salads, fresh fruits, and leafy vegetables. Food such as sprouts is rich in fiber and nutrients such as Vitamin E, Potassium, and Iron which are effective constituents of lustrous hair and prevent hair loss.

4. Shampoo daily

In monsoon season try to shampoo your hair as frequently as you can and use a mild shampoo, every other day also can be the solution for shampooing if you feel daily shampoo is not good for your hair.

5. Always wash your hairs with cold or lukewarm water

Always try to avoid the use of hot water on hairs as it tends to damage the hair shaft and makes the hair shaft brittle and more prone to splits, so always use lukewarm or cold water to wash your hairs.

After shampooing remove excess water from hairs with the help of a towel and try to dry your hairs naturally without the use of any hairdryer. When the hairs are wet the hair shaft is more prone to splitting and hair fall so avoid combing wet hairs.
