मैंने काली रात को जन्म लिया।
और काली गाय का दूध पीया।
मेरी कमली भी काली है।

सखी रोज़ ही घर में बुलाती है।
और माखन बहुत खिलाती है।
सखिओं का दिल काला।

मैंने काली नाग पर नाच किया।
और काली नाग को नाथ लिया।
नागों का रंग काला।

सावन में बिजली कड़कती है।
बादल भी बहुत बरसतें है।
बादल का रंग काला।

सखी नयनों में कजरा लगाती है।
और नयनों में मुझे बिठाती है।
कजरे का रंग काला।
