Preparation:

  • Take out the gram flour in a utensil and mix in it the red chili, coriander seed powder, one tablespoon oil, and salt so that it becomes a sleek solution. Keep the solution aside for half an hour.

  • Cut the paneer into 1 ½ inch long, 1 ½ inch wide and ½ inch thick, pieces. Split each piece by cutting from their thick side. Fill little chaat masala (as per taste) in between the splits and keep it back in the plate.

  • Put oil in a frying pan and heat it.

  • Stir nicely the gram flour solution. Dip the paneer piece in this solution and put it in the frying pan. Like this put 2 to 3 pieces at a time in the frying pan. Fry them on medium flame and keep turning the pakoras with a frying spoon. After they turn dark brown, take them out on a plate. Like this make all the pakoras.
