Amazon Prime Video is an Internet video-on-demand service that is developed, owned and operated by Amazon.com. It offers television shows and films for rental or purchase and as part of Amazon’s Prime subscription, selected titles can be viewed exclusively to full Prime or Prime Video members, in which video membership allows viewing without full Prime.

Amazon Prime and Amazon Premium are membership programs available through the Amazon website Amazon.in in India. These memberships provide full access to Prime Video through a paid monthly plan. It will be about Rs 50 per month in India. You can subscribe to the Prime membership for Rs. 499 per year right now the full price is Rs. 999 per year.

This is going to be something much cheaper than Netflix. And moreover, Amazon is now paying attention to the local market with Prime Video service. It is currently viewing to grab IPL streaming rights which would give the company a major edge in the India market.
