There is no good news for the Indian information technology professional, recently USA have tightened there immigration program causing much shock for Indian IT professional who are always eyeing to work abroad after there education.
Now Singapore is stopping Indian IT professionals from entering their country by dropping the visas issued to Indian professional and have been asking the major IT companies to hire local talents rather than getting Indians to work.
After USA limiting there H1B visas for Indian IT professional, top IT Firms have been relocating there operations to other countries and many have started shifting to Singapore.
But now Singapore authorities have been demanding compliance with certain economic pre-requisites via a test called the economic needs test (ENT), such test was not agreed in Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA). Indian Government have cited this as violation of the trade pact in Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA).
Number of top Indian IT firms like Infosys, Wipro, HCL, TCS and Cognizant have relocated its operation to Singapore but now they have received communication on fair consideration for hiring locals and this is going to hit the Indian IT Professionals hard.
