International Mango Festival

Summers is the Mango season in India, and July is the month of celebrating the “King of fruits” at mango heaven, which is the International Mango Festival.

The International Mango Festival is held every year in New Delhi and is organized by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC), in coordination with other organizations.

It is a must-visit festival for mango lovers where you can taste and enjoy over 1000 varieties of mangoes for free. You can see almost all variety of mangoes here from different states of India. Among some are Langda Mango, Dussehri Mango, Alphonso Mango, Fasli Mango, Bombay Green Mango, Sindheri Mango, Chausa5Mango.

In 2025 Delhi International Mango Festival will be held on 5th – 7th July at Dilli Haat, Pitampura and is hosted by the Delhi Tourism Board in collaboration with the Delhi Government.

The event started back in 1987 and since then every year Delhi hosts a mango festival for mango lovers bringing together mango growers, sellers, and horticulturists from across the country.

Mango Eating Festival

Here to can get all types of mangoes and mango plants, even processed mango items like jam, chutney, pulp, juice, and jelly are sold. Besides tasting the mangoes you can join many fun activities here like mango eating competitions, mango folk performances, cultural performances, mango quizzes, and slogan writing competitions.

If you love cooking then there are special stalls from chefs who will share different kinds of mango shakes, dishes, and desserts you can make. The festival is very popular among locals as well as tourists and if you happen to go to Delhi then this is not to be missed event.
