Reliance Jio to launch the cheapest smartphone in India
Reliance Jio is the new 4G network in India offering high-speed mobile internet and has taken the telecom sector by storm.
Reliance Jio is now gearing up to launch India’s cheapest 4G smartphone VoLTE which will be priced between Rs 1000 to Rs 1500. The phone is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2017.
The new smartphone from reliance will be powered by the Spreadtrum 9820 SoC and will be having features like front and rear-facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, Keypad and will be running on the Android operating system.
Along with it, there will be Jio’s app network like Live TV, Jio chat, and video. Already 25 Million customers have been a Reliance Jio subscriber now the company will enter the phone market and is likely to shake the Phone market of India.
Reliance Jio’s free 4G services and unlimited calls have urged people to switch to 4G-enabled smartphones and now they providing such a cheap Smartphone that will make it the lead in the Phone segment, especially in the untapped rural areas.
